As if Gigi Hadid didn’t have her supermodel fingers in enough business pies already, she’s only now landed a HUGE fragrance campaign with Tommy Hilfiger!
The 21-year-old babe, who’s also the brand’s womenswear, accessories and fragrance ambassador, has just been announced as the face of Hilfiger’s newest scent, The Girl.
And it’s no surprise that she’s representing the brand yet again. Gigi’s confidence, effortlessly cool style and optimism is pretty much everything the brand embodies.
‘The Girl means being true to yourself and having fun while you’re at it,’ says Gigi. ‘For me, that’s appreciating every moment, laughing at myself and surrounding myself with everything that makes me feel happy.’ Well said, girl.
And what’s the scent like, you ask? Well, given Tommy Hilfiger’s track record of creating unique and fresh fragrances, we were expecting it to be crisp, cool and feminine. And, yes, it’s a gorge mix of violet leaf, green fig, cedarwood and velvety jasmine petals. Lush!
‘It’s fun to be in a campaign that’s seductive yet lighthearted and playful,’ Gigi says. ‘I can’t wait for everyone to see what we shot – there are a lot of surprises to come!’
So, looks like Gigi’s got her work cut out for her – not that she minds. No pressure, Gigi, but we’re expecting a collab with Zayn next…
