#TEAMTPS tell you how to raise money for Look Good Feel Better Week

By Lauren Carbran

We’ve been busy this week. Yep, #TEAMTPS are raising money for Look Good Feel Better in every way!

Look Good Feel Better helps women and teenagers combat the visible side effects of cancer treatment through confidence-boosting skincare and makeup workshops across the UK. And from 6-12 June 2016, we’re raising awareness and funds, while having heaps of fun – hello Look Good Feel Better Week!

So here’s how #TEAMTPS are doing it…

AnnieDerryAnnie Derry, Store Supervisor at Fosse Shopping Park, Leicester

‘We’re raising money for Look Good Feel Better with makeup tutorials in store on Thursday, 9 June 2016. Our Sales Assistant will show customers how to create bespoke looks using the Look Good Feel Better makeup brushes. We’re also giving customers complimentary hand massages, to show how easy it is to make someone feel better.’

LizqLiz Little, Recruitment Manager at High Wycombe

‘I’m taking part in SWALK – Walking For Women With Cancer on Sunday, 12 June 2016 – a sponsored walk for everyone to get involved in. I can’t wait to walk through the Surrey Hills with my colleagues and our pooches!’

What’s happening at The Perfume Shop

We’re going all out for Look Good Feel Better week. That’s right – gorge gift wrapping, bestselling makeup brushes (Kardashians, eat your heart out) and trolley tokens. And on Thursday 9 June 2016, we’re having a pink makeover. Yes, pop into stores to see (nearly) everything turn pink – and make sure you donate, too!

Three ways to fundraise

Pucker up and support Look Good Feel Better with these lippy challenges…

1. The kiss quiz

Test your friends, family and colleagues on their knowledge of the most famous kisses of all time, from moments of movie passion to classic musical hits. Ask for a small donation from everyone who takes part.

2. Kiss me cake bake

Calling all you star bakers out there: put your baking skills to the test by making cakes and tasty treats incorporating the lips theme. Try making biscuits in the shape of lips, or put little icing lips on the top of fairy cakes – it’s up to you. Invite friends round for tea and cake, or take your bakes to work for your colleagues. We’re sure everyone will make generous donations to taste the delish results!

3. Kiss-and-make-up girls’ night in

Get your girlies together for a night in and put your beauty skills to the test. Create a relaxing pamper party, with friends making donations for a mini manicure, facial or complete makeover. Can we come, too?
