When I’m travelling to and from Australia, there are some very special beauty items that I choose to take across the world with me. I always carry perfumes because no matter where I am, spraying my favourites can make me feel as special as the place I’m exploring. Perfumes are instantly uplifting and make me feel more feminine and refreshed. I love to save some fragrances just for holidays, so that as soon as I smell them, all my sunny memories of travelling make me want to book another ticket straight away! They are my little bottles of sunshine!
Here are some of my favourite holiday perfumes, which always make it into my suitcase…
Stella McCartney Pop
Apart from making me feel instantly more feminine and youthful, the new Stella McCartney Pop, with its sweet and sparkling notes of tuberose and sandalwood is perfect for those long flights. And the bottle is so beautiful. It looks dreamy on any hotel dressing table!
Hugo Boss Orange Woman
This has been one of my favourite summer fragrances for years. Its notes of sweet apple and creamy orange make it deliciously fruity and uplifting, and when I’m travelling to and from Australia, it keeps me feeling refreshed throughout the flight and thirsty for sunshine! Hugo Boss Orange Woman is perfect for the entire holiday, and for pairing with sunkissed skin and vibrant colours.
Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Rosa Excelsa
Love blossoms in every corner of the world, and whether you’re planning a romantic weekend away or there’s a chance you’ll meet someone special, be prepared for a holiday romance with Dolce Rosa Excelsa. It’s inspired by Italy’s love affair with sensuality, elegance and passion.
Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess
If going on holiday had a scent, this would be it. Each sensuous note of refreshing orange, warming myrrh and delicious coconut pays homage to those lazy days relaxing on sun-drenched beaches. Bronze Goddess is my go-to spray as soon as I land – and whenever I want to reminisce about my favourite holidays and be transported back to those memorable destinations.
