How to match your perfume to your festival hair tribe

By Lauren Carbran

Stop what you’re doing! The hottest hair colours for festival season have arrived and we’re obsessed. Get friendly with pastel pink, greige and rainbow hair tribes, which have insta-cool written all over them. And here are the perfumes that are the perfect colour match…

Hair tribe: pastel pink

Take inspo from Lourdes, the new face of Stella McCartney Pop (out in July – we can’t wait!), who totally rocks pink hair in the campaign. We know her mum, Madonna, backs the look – remember her neon-pink ombre hair in May 2015? So if a love of pink runs in your fam, too, try the super-cute Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Blush. It’s the perfect festival companion, with fresh blends of waterlily, rose and violet. And as florals are showing no signs of leaving the perfume radar any time soon, you’ll want to wear this for the long run.

J-LawHair tribe: greige

Beige plus grey equals greige. Simple! This edgy hair colour was made for J-Law, who showed off her new look last month at a Sony event in Las Vegas. So don’t shy away from this bold hair colour, which will last you all the way through festival season in style. For a match made in heaven, opt for CK One, with its lush mix of bergamot, green tea and musk. It gets better, people. This gender-free fragrance can be shared with the guys, too!

Hair tribe: rainbow

This month, Kylie Jenner’s Coachella 2016 rainbow hues gave us serious hair envy. So if you’re going for a badass rainbow look this festival season, there’s only one perfume you need to be talked about: Escada Agua Del Sol, a tropical eau de toilette that will take you to paradise in one spritz. Refreshing top notes of pear and raspberry are perfect for a fun festival scent. Pack it for your summer vacay, too, for maximum impact.
