#TEAMTPS give you their top travel tips for summer

By Lauren Carbran

Ready, steady, holiday! If you’re jetting away this summer (lucky you!), you’ll need to put your perfume radar on. Here, to help you, are the #TEAMTPS top tips for taking a perfume on your trip…

becsRebecca Richmond, Store Manager at Solihull

‘Take just one bottle of perfume with you so that the fragrance will always remind you of your holiday destination. And don’t leave home without your mini refill. Whenever I leave the country, I ALWAYS take Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess with me. It’s sun, sea and sand in a bottle!’

samanthaSamantha Brailli, Intern at High Wycombe

My top tip is to take a travel refill bottle filled with your favourite perfume. It’s lightweight and easy to keep in your hand luggage with the liquid restrictions, and to carry around with you on holiday. Plus, if you lose it (which I have done before), the full bottle is still back at home! I took Paco Rabanne Lady Million to Budapest with me this summer because it’s fresh and feminine, and I could wear it day and evening.’

MattMatt Delo, Deputy Manager at Poole

‘Back in June I unleashed my inner child and visited my favourite place on earth – Disneyland Paris! And let me tell you, France is extremely hot in June! But anywhere I go on holiday, I take Paco Rabanne Invictus. Its fresh and woody notes of grapefruit and amber wood make it perfect for both day and night. My top tip for packing fragrance is to be light and safe. Go for a smaller size of your fave scent, or use a travel atomiser, which saves on space in your luggage. And pack it inside a shoe, so there’s less risk of the bottle getting broken.’

emilyEmily Watkins, Sales Assistant in Newcastle

‘This summer, I’m heading to Gran Canaria for two weeks, and I’ll be taking Chloé Love Story. My travel tip is to take a small eau de parfum, not an eau de toilette, as it lasts way longer.’
