Like smelling amazing? Of course you do. It’s all about how you apply your perfume. So next time you’re in a rush, you’ll need to know #TEAMTPS’s Claire Milne’s top tips on how to smell your best in 30 seconds. You’re super-duper welcome…
Spray where it counts!
Did you know you can apply your fragrance to your elbows, hair and even earlobes? Yep! And if that info has given you a major OMG moment, you’ll want to know more about the perfume points on your body. Claire explains, ‘When I want to smell my best, I apply perfume mainly on my neck/collarbone area. Then I spritz my inner elbows, usually near my pulse, as the fragrance warms best to my skin here. Finally, I spray my perfume mid-air and walk through it – it’s the cherry on top!’ Go on, we dare you to do it now!
Less is more
‘I would recommend only one or two pumps of your fragrance per area,’ says Claire. ‘A little can go a long way, so stick by this rule and you’ll get the compliments flowing – and you won’t run out of perfume too quickly.’ Our latest obsessions? Zadig & Voltaire This Is Her!, which blends rose, vanilla and pink peppercorns, and Beckham Beyond Forever, a masculine mix of nutmeg and leather. We love!
Spritz your clothes
You know how Abercrombie & Fitch clothes smell incred? Well, to smell your best in 30 seconds, you’ll need to spritz your clothes. ‘I love spraying fragrance onto my scarf and clothing to enhance the smell,’ says Claire. ‘It will last all day, too!’ We’re obsessed with spritzing Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Rosa Excelsa for her, which combines rose and musk, and Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct for him, which smells of gin and tonic and melon. Mmm! Your clothes never smelt so good.
